"Is there not a cause?"

In 1 Samuel 17:29 David asks those around him this question, I see and understand his frustration. The Armies of the Lord, his Lord, are standing around prepared for battle but doing nothing. This philistine Goliath has them terrified and they are unable to move! David however sees Goliath in an entirely different way! He asks his brothers and those around him "who is this uncircumcised philistine, that he should defy the Armies of the living God?" In essence asking those around him - why are you afraid of this man, is he bigger and more powerful than our God? David, even as a young man, knows his God, and loves his God. David says - this has to stop, is there not a cause? David says - I'll fight him, and not only that - our God will be with me and deliver him into my hands!
