I love to read David's words in Psalms, he was a man's man, he wasn't afraid to burst into spontaneous praise or fall to the ground in total humility! I look at the Psalms he wrote as a kind of open diary where he communicated with GOD regularly and for all to see! I see my life in David's words of praise, in his frustration with life and how he wasn't afraid to really pour his heart out to GOD. I'll be sharing some thoughts and Psalms here regularly, please feel free to comment and share back!
Psalm 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?"
Wow, powerful stuff! Do you think he has a relationship with the Living GOD? I could camp out on just this first verse for a LONG time.....

Satan tries everyday to steal this truth from our hearts...we must speak defeat to him OUTLOUD..unlike Christ he can't read our minds. He delights in taking away our assurance of strength through Christ Jesus. Do not let him...repeat this verse! Christ is indeed my light and salvation and in Him lies my strength to move forward.
